The upper transparent part is held by a plastic snap. If necessary to replace the pocket contents, you simply unsnap the closure. Unlike self-adhesive magnetic pockets, the entire pocket can be displaced as needed (i.e. it does not have to remain permanently glued at the site of initial use).

The magnetic component thus becomes an irreplaceable helper in many operations.
