Usage:
We offer a SOLLAU GM hand Gauss meter used for measuring DC and AC magnetic fields. Values measured are flux density (in tesla or gauss units) and field strength (in A/m). The SOLLAU GM is delivered with rechargeable batteries and is very suitable as a hand-held meter. For non-portable use, it is equipped with a power supply with a USB cable (included in the delivery), serving as a battery charger at the same time. With several built-in functions, it shows high measurement accuracy in both cases.
Description of the function
The SOLLAU GM Gauss meter is fitted by a transverse probe as standard. An axial and a thin transverse probe for measuring inside small gaps are also available. All probes are equipped with programmable EEPROM memories for identification, parameterization, and linearization. The measuring range for the flow density is up to 4.5 tesla and for the field strength 3,800 kA/m, resp. The resolution is set to 1 mT or 1 A/m. Other characteristic features are: holding the maximum value (positive and negative), adjusting the linearity, balancing, and the battery status indicator with energy-saving mode. The measured values can be easily displayed and saved to your PC via the USB port by pressing the DATA key. The device can also be controlled automatically using a customer's software.
