Detailed information

Product detailed description

The magnetic separator into the hopper of the injection molding press serves to separate ferromagnetic particles from the stream of free-falling material (re-granulate, crushed materials, etc.).  The separator protects injection molding presses with a classical conical hopper against damage (prevents metal particles from intrusion into the worm-gear and jet mechanism). The magnetic separator into the hopper of the injection molding press is equipped with very strong NdFeB neodymium magnets, thanks to which it can capture even the finest metallic dust particles. In addition, when using NdFeB magnets, it does not come to entrainment of entrapped impurities by the flowing material (unlike some competitive separators equipped with weaker ferrite magnets).

The cleaning is performed by sliding out the permanent neodymium magnets from the stainless steel tubes. The trapped metal impurities subsequently fall off spontaneously. Compared to non-slidable separator types, needing to be blown laboriously and whose cleaning is considerably inefficient and lengthy, our design offers not only high efficiency of the separation itself but also simple operation and cleaning. The advantages of this type of magnetic separator are also low purchase and operating costs, easy use, simple assembling, and short delivery time. As standard, we produce this separator in diameters from 100 to 400 mm. However, we can adapt the dimensions and overall design to the customer's requirements.

The magnetic separator into the hopper of the injection molding press is used mainly in recycling processes and in the plastics industry.
