The welding magnet, made of a strong ferrite magnet, is inserted into a cylindrical steel casing with a firm holding metal eye.

The combination of a magnet and a steel housing ensures a large increase in the magnetic holding force of the magnetic core used (up to 23 kg) and protects it against cracking and tearing at the same time. This magnetic lens is magnetic only on the underside. The ferrite magnet itself withstands a large temperature range (220°C). Greater resistance of welding magnets is ensured by their surface treatment - zinc or nickel-plating. This type of magnets will find its main application in metal production and mechanical engineering.
