The largest metal disc counterpart in the range: a zinc-plated steel base 64 mm in diameter and 3 mm thick, 5.5 mm inner hole, weight 65 g. It is intended for large magnets and pot magnets roughly 60–64 mm across, which need an extensive seating area. It is anchored with a countersunk screw. It is not a magnet.

1. Which magnets is the 64x3 mm size made for?
   Large magnets and pot magnets approximately 60–64 mm in diameter, for example 63 mm ferrite pot magnets or plastic-coated pot magnets with a large seating face.

2. Why choose such a large steel disc counterpart?
   The holding force is only fully realised when the magnet seats on the steel over its whole area. With a magnet 60 mm across, a smaller steel base would not close the magnetic flux and the force would drop considerably.

3. Does the zinc-plated 64x3 mm part carry any magnetism?
   No. It is a zinc-plated steel disc counterpart — the magnet is ordered separately.

4. Is one screw enough to fix the 64 mm metal disc counterpart?
   The steel base has a single central hole of 5.5 mm. With large magnets and a strong pull-off force we recommend checking that the substrate structure will carry single-point anchoring.

5. How much does the 64x3 mm steel base weigh?

6. Is there a bonded version in a similar size?
   Yes, a metal disc counterpart with double-sided adhesive tape 60 mm in diameter and 2.5 mm thick. The bonded version is quicker to fit, while the screw-on one carries a higher, permanent load.
