Metal disc – self-adhesive counterpart 30x2 mm, white lacquer
Code: PD002BLProduct detailed description
A steel base 30 mm in diameter and 2 mm thick in white lacquer, fitted with double-sided adhesive tape. You stick this metal disc counterpart onto a non-magnetic substrate where it should stay visually discreet — on a white wall, furniture or board frame. It suits magnets and pot magnets around 25–30 mm in diameter. It has no magnetic field of its own, and the magnet is ordered separately.
- What do I get when I order the white 30x2 mm metal disc counterpart?
You receive one white lacquered steel disc counterpart 30 mm in diameter and 2 mm thick with double-sided adhesive tape already applied. The magnet is not part of the delivery.
- Where is the white lacquered steel base most useful?
On white interior surfaces — cabinet doors, panels, walls and board frames, where a zinc magnet mounting disc would stand out. Its function is the same as that of the zinc-plated version.
- Which magnets suit the white lacquered 30x2 mm size?
Magnets and pot magnets approximately 25–30 mm in diameter, for example 25 mm pot magnets or neodymium magnets D 30 mm. Some customers look for this part as a steel washer for a magnet.
- How strongly does a magnet hold on this steel base?
The holding force comes from the magnet, not from the metal disc counterpart. Magnet manufacturers' figures apply to a thick steel plate, so expect a lower value on a 2 mm steel base.
- Can this self-adhesive counterpart be screwed on instead of glued?
This version is made for bonding and has no screw hole. If you need a screwed joint, choose the countersunk steel disc version.
- Will the magnet scratch the lacquer?
Repeated attaching may leave wear marks on the lacquer, especially with strong neodymium magnets. We recommend placing the magnet down rather than sliding it across the surface.
